Which laboratory to use for Hair Mineral Analysis?

TEI was the lab we were recommended to use when I took my 3-year nutrition consultancy course. We have excellent UK support and I have successfully dealt with many clients in the UK and other countries, despite TEI being in the USA.
In double blind trials with other laboratories and in studies reported JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association) we have been found TEI to be consistent in results.
The laboratory follows a rigorous, comprehensive quality control and quality assurance programme to insure precision, accuracy, reliability and validity of every mineral testing. Instrument calibration is repeated throughout the testing process to ensure reproducibility.
Samples are also routinely split and run in duplicate to evaluate daily procedures. Split samples are also analysed on different days to evaluate the day to day operations.
I have tried some UK labs (not all, of course), but I have been far more impressed and satisfied with the quality of information and service from TEI. You get what you pay for!
